The Sun, The Moon, and Salena tells the story of the love of the Sun, the Moon, and their daughter, Salena. And of the treacherous, predatory Ocean. And the budding love of drama students Jennifer and John as they create Salena's story.
When the Levee Breaks (10 minutes) will be performed as part of Café Nostra at at the Bellefonte Cafe in Wilmington, Delaware.

Skin for Skin was produced in March - April 2017 with The Agency Collective, choreographed by Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble and Actors Gymnasium, directed by Mike Menendian.
La Maestra received a staged reading with music and dance in June 2016 at Chicago DanzTheatre Ensemble and will be produced as part of the 2017 - 2018 season. La Maestra tells the story of Artemisia Gentileschi, a brilliant Baroque artist. And Jennifer Hartnett, a lovely and talented modern drama student. And Judith - the Biblical righter of wrongs. And there are definitely wrongs to be righted in these stories.
When the Levee Breaks (10-minutes) was produced at The Secret Theatre in Queens, New York, in February, 2016. It was selected as a finalist and will be published by The Secret Theatre.
Anna O., the story of Bertha Pappenheim - very arguably the cofounder of psychoanalysis - received a staged reading with the Agency Collective in March, 2016 and with Chicago Writers Bloc in June 2016.
La Maestra received a staged reading with Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble in June 2016. Five directors and sixteen performers - actors, dancers, singers, and musicians - brilliantly portraying the lives of modern drama student Jennifer Hartnett, Baroque painter Artemisia Gentileschi, and Biblical Judith.

I directed (don't laugh) Hope Hommersand's excellent new play, Why Good Things Happen to Bad People, at the Piven Theatre, 927 Noyes St., Evanston on May 18th at 8 pm, with the superb cast of Erika Napoletano, Cat Hermes, Sarah Bickel, Ben Schlotfelt, and John Scavone.
